APPLICATION· TEXFON is recommended as impact noiseinsulation for flooring onto all kind of supports. Alsoas a separation layer for those applications thatrequire a discontinuity between structural elementsunder load.It can be used:· Under loads until 500 Kg/m2· Under reinforced mortar screed of 5 cm thickness(35 Kg/m2) or non-reinforced mortar of 6 cm

INSTALLATION· TEXFON must be installed by experimentedinstallers.· It is installed directly onto the support with thebituminous protection remaining on the top.· The joints are sealed by using the self-adhesiveoverlap included in the roll.· Before placing the TEXFON product, it is important toinstall the TEXFON BAND along the perimeter andjoints with vertical elements, in order not to createacoustic bridges.· A temporary walkable area protection is needed untilthe pouring of the mortar is finished.PRECAUTIONS· Check that the support is free of sharpelements that could damage the product· Check that the joints are properly sealed andthat there are no openings, as small openingscan reduce the acoustic insulation level youwant to achieve.PACKAGING AND STORAGETEXFONLength (m) 20Width (m) 1,07 (adhesive overlap included 1,00(installed rolled)m2/roll 20m2 / pallet 320Roll weight (kg) 13StorageVertical storage in pallets on a flatsurface.
